ReTribe

Youth Programs

Forest School

Forest School complements the traditional school week by offering a nature-centered, spirited agenda guided by the interests and curiosity of participants. Also ideal for homeschoolers, offering a chance to connect deeply with peers, themselves, and the natural world.

Wild Woods After School

After School is held in the beautiful woods of Underhill where we enjoy the rolling hills and forests as well as our brook and pond.

Summer Day Camps

Chipmunks join the Coyotes for morning songs as well as stories around the fire at lunch, and play a part in the fantasy adventure world. They also create a camp of their own in the forest where they can enjoy games and activities that are age appropriate.

Teen Programs

Forest School for Teens

Forest School complements the traditional school week by offering a nature-centered, spirited agenda guided by the interests and curiosity of participants. Also ideal for homeschoolers, offering a chance to connect deeply with peers, themselves, and the natural world.

Wild Mountain Time: Wilderness Retreat

Come join us out in the beautiful woods on the foothills of Mount Mansfield. With 80 acres of forest and open meadows we have the perfect space to create a village in the woods. We will set up camp for the week where we can connect more deeply with each other, ourselves and with the natural world

Inner Journeys: Teen Rite of Passage

Come spend two weeks of your summer at the foot of Mt Mansfield exploring the land and your inner landscape. Having fun with friends, moving our bodies, calming our minds and exploring the great outdoors. The teenage years can be very confusing but there are many simple, time-tested traditions to help us find our center and clarify our vision.

Adventure Game Theater: Teen Right of Passage

Transform through improvisational theater and a live action adventure where you may become a hero, meet magical creatures, face dark powers, and fight for your life with foam swords and magic.

New Year’s Retreat

Come enjoy the beauty of the Vermont winter and connect with your ReTribe community while you release what is no longer serving you from your past year and create New Year's intentions. Rather than a "Rite of Passage," this week will be a community building, healing retreat, and New Year's celebration.

Social Harmony

Social Harmony builds self-sustaining programs that promote social emotional health, address conflict, and decrease bullying through restorative justice methods in the entire school community.

We educate and train students, faculty, and parents to create a community-wide culture change that moves people from punishment to healing. We guide children, youth, and adults through rites of passage that bring them one step closer to the people they hope to become.

Indeed, school culture is the context in which teaching and learning take place and has a profound effect upon students’ academic progress and their interactions with peers and adults. When it comes to bullying and social relations within the school community in general, there exists an exciting opportunity to move beyond the simple punishment model to address the actual “roots” of social conflict. This approach fosters a new level of awareness and conflict resolution skills that benefit all stakeholders, not only within the school setting, but also in all other areas of their lives.
